BRICK HOUSE BLUE
Dublin's Bridge Park required a distinctive "resi-mercial" destination that would transcend conventional coworking typologies, establishing a hospitality-driven brand focused on meetings, events, and collaborative environments.

The design transforms a vacant shell into a high-energy collaborative center featuring meeting rooms, open workspaces, and environmental graphics that activate networking behaviors. Large windows frame views of the Scioto River and historic Dublin, connecting interior programs to the urban landscape.
A second 2,000-square-foot location nearby provides complementary programming focused on private offices within a calmer acoustic environment. Both locations integrate hospitality elements — gathering kitchenettes, beer taps, outdoor areas — that cultivate community among members through designed social infrastructure.
Unifying elements connect the locations: garage doors enable spatial flexibility, specialty glass walls provide writable surfaces while maintaining visual transparency, and salvaged materials introduce warmth to new construction. Community managers are strategically positioned to facilitate member engagement and provide access to premium amenities including podcast rooms and professional development programming.
Full occupancy was achieved immediately upon opening, attracting members from international corporations to local startups. During the pandemic, the flexible spatial system adapted to accommodate college students, tutors, and working parents requiring private environments. This adaptability contributed to Brick House Blue receiving the 2019 Coworker Members' Choice Award as Columbus's top coworking company.
