LEARNING RESOURCE COMMONS
Ohio University Southern was seeking a partner to complete an architectural planning study to prepare a conceptual plan, develop cost estimates, and develop project possibilities associated with physical improvements to the combined Library and Student Success Center on the 2nd Floor of the Collins Center. The deliverable for the project is a conceptual design, a preliminary project budget and timeline, and graphic illustrations for use in a capital campaign to fund the project’s implementation.
Since the study was completed, Ohio University Southern has utilized the product to promote the project to private philanthropic organizations, and fundraising for the project has increased dramatically. OU Southern is also using the work product to communicate the priorities for the campus and attract new students who are seeking a sensitive campus environment to further their education.
