No. 10 – A Decade of Cornhole for Our Community
Mark your calendar for October 10th when we will celebrate 10 years of WSA Cornhole
October 10th will mark the 10th anniversary of WSA’s annual cornhole tournament and silent auction fundraiser. This year we are proud to partner with the Neighborhood Design Center (NDC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved communities in Columbus. The NDC’s work focuses on participatory design and planning, enabling residents to actively shape their neighborhoods and create prosperous spaces. Their initiatives, including the Summer Youth Colab, focus on neighborhood improvement, and architectural education and outreach. As a firm built on fostering creativity and connection through thoughtful design, we’re excited to support a group that is working to bring the field to the next generation of designers, and whose impact encompass entire communities.
The growth and success of this event over the past decade would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our sponsors. Their contributions have transformed what began as a friendly tournament into an ambitious celebration of community spirit. Thanks to their generosity, attendees can enjoy a wide array of activities beyond the cornhole competition itself. The event features a silent auctions showcasing items from local vendors, food trucks offering delicious local cuisine, and live music.
None of this would be possible without the support and generosity of our event sponsors. Their commitment to the community has enabled us to create an event that not only raises funds but also raises awareness about groups doing amazing work.
As we celebrate a decade of impact, we’re reminiscing on all the great memories we’ve made since we set out a couple board and a grill in our parking lot. As we look forward to this milestone edition, we invite you join us in celebrating ten years of giving back. Together, we can make a significant impact on the work of the Neighborhood Design Center and contribute to building a more inclusive and vibrant Columbus for all its residents.
