Please join us in welcoming our newest WSA ducks!

So far, 2021 has proven to be another year of change and unpredictability. We’ve seen changes to our teams, too, and we are so grateful to continue growing despite the challenges of the last year. Please join us in welcoming our newest team members!

Lisa Canfield, LEED AP
Design Manager

Lisa brings a deep history of design and project management, and even a history with WSA. Previously, she led the design and implementation of retail environments across the country for a top international brand. And before that, she worked with us in 2006 as a Design Specialist! Lisa is from Minneapolis, but has enjoyed making a home in the Buckeye state.

Alex Nyktas, Associate AIA
Design Specialist

Alex is a Design Specialist with several years of experience in healthcare and commercial design. He is passionate about designing spaces that spark positive change within organizations, influencing the way people work and relate to each other. Alex earned a Master’s of Architecture from The Ohio State University in 2018. Outside of work, you can find him hustling in a high-energy cycling class or exploring Downtown Columbus.

Tike Akintan
Design Specialist

Tike is a recent graduate from Iowa State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s of Architecture. He was inspired to pursue architecture when he was assigned a high school project to design an airport. He loves how design can impact a person’s mood and behavior in positive ways. Tike is new to Columbus and spends his time playing soccer with friends, exploring the city, and cooking.

Tyler Hatton, Associate IIDA
Design Specialist

Tyler is a Design Specialist with a passion for creating beautiful interior spaces that are narrative and functional. His yearning for creative problem-solving led him to earn a Bachelor’s in Interior Design from The Ohio State University in 2020. Tyler loves to run in his free time, and he hopes to run his second half marathon when in-person events reopen.

Jennifer Taylor
Design Specialist

With a background in materials science engineering and a Master’s Degree in Technology and Innovation from the University of Sussex, Jennifer brings a unique perspective to the studio. Her experience in research & development and steel engineering help round out our multidisciplinary approach to architecture and design. Jennifer loves traveling with her family (pre-pandemic) and spending time outside, whether it’s gardening, kayaking, or hiking.
