Career & Technology Education Centers of Licking County - Exterior Renovation
A strategic exterior renovation transformed C-TEC into a cohesive, modern campus that reflects the center's position as Licking County's premier choice for career and technical education. WSA worked with district leadership to renovate their existing facilities to create a more cohesive campus. These buildings house their K-12 Education, Adult Education, and day care facilities as well as public spaces for collaboration with outside partners.
Challenge
To design and execute a comprehensive facade renovation across C-TEC's campus.
Solution
The campus is outfitted with black corrugated metal, ash-gray metal paneling, and warm wood-slated accents. Environmental graphics cement the buildings in school pride with their logo and mascots. Subtle layering and tone on tone signage break up the expansive warehouse buildings to create a more inviting campus experience.
The renovation successfully transformed the facility into a modern workforce development destination. The new exterior design creates a more inviting campus experience while improving wayfinding and accessibility. The project has strengthened C-TEC's presence in the community and provides a foundation for future facility improvements, including specialized learning spaces.
